Let's hope so
The message has already gone out. Not interested in any messages, but taking a point or 3 after an away game in Europe will be a good result. They have had a relatively easy game in Moscow where they rested players and they have an extra days recovery and no travel to the game.

Bravo
Sagna
Stones
Otamendi
Kolorov

Fernandhino
Gundogan
Silva

Navas
Aguero
Sterling

Might be tempted to play Nacho instead of Navas.

Settle for a point now.

The reason Spurs had a relatively easy game was because they kept possession of the ball and in so doing turned what could have been a difficult game into a comfortable one. We made it hard for ourselves and that now has a knock on effect for the next game. A draw would be a very good result, a win would be amazing. Nando in for Gundo but playing in the deeper role that Dinho normally does, Dinho playing a little further forward looking after Silva and giving us more legs in the middle. Stones a definite starter.

The only reason I'd start Sane is because his pace will make Walker think twice about going forward too often. Fernandinho alongside Silva will enable us to press higher up the pitch though he needs to stay on his feet.

Or Navas for Sane. Close call. I'd also be tempted to play Iheanacho instead of Aguero. Need fresh players.

CSKA are not very good. We should have beat them with 9 men a few seasons back, or have I got the wrong game? The one where Toure got sent off.

I know we've struggled against them a couple of times in recent years, them being helped by a couple of shambolic refereeing performances. I'd say they're on a similar level, maybe a bit better, than Celtic. I know it's a completely different ball game at Celtic Park but for me we faced nothing different than we did at, for example, Stoke and we beat them 1-4. Whereas Spurs got the job done with minimum fuss.
