Spurs (A) Pre-Match Thread

Our premier league games already have that end of season nothing to play for feel, and it’s only February which is silly. Call me crazy but I would love to see players on Sunday playing in their normal positions. Ederson; Walker Otamendi Laporte (Garcia if not fit) Zinchenko; Rodri, Bernardo KDB; Jesus Mahrez Aguero
We are playing for 2nd place, our priority has to be the two Real games and so it should be.

Want us to win on Sunday. Don’t give a monkey’s about where/when Liverpool win the league. Also don’t care about a guard of honour. If they get one they deserve it. They have been absolutely fabulous this year.

We, on the other hand, have cups to win and we can still have a brilliant season, again.

Oh, and I always love us beating Tottenham!

Spurs haven't been great of late, but will be lifted by the signing of Bergwijn. Can see this being a difficult game, especially if Laporte, Fernandinho and Mendy are still out.

If the scousers win the title by the time we play them, they will have deserved the guard of honour for sure, but it would be very nice to be the team to end there winning run.

Spurs geberally get beaten off every decent team they play and I expect us to score 3 on Sunday

Ed
Fern Laporte Rodders
Walker Mendy
Gundogen KDB Foden
Jesus Aguero

Obviously a concern at centre half if Laporte and Fernandinho are still out. Will he trust two of Otamendi/Stones/Garcia? Or push Rodri back there? Or stick with the three from last night?

With what’s available, I’d possibly go:

———————Ederson—————
Walker—Stones—Otamendi—Zinchenko
————————-Rodri——————-
———De Bruyne——-Bernardo
Mahrez———-Aguero——--Jesus

Possible lack of width on the left without Mendy. But hard to rectify without playing Sterling, and he doesn’t really warrant picking at the moment.
