Really hope it’s not Walker at centre half.

I appreciate KDB has not been great but Bernardo as good as he has been for us in the past been poor this season ( plus KDB wants to play for the club). I can’t see how constantly changing a team struggling for form can help.

Team can win today. But it’s Spursey. Guaranteed to lose when the pressure is on but with give a free hit , manager illand Man City in town……

Let’s hope Pep as he nearly always does has called this right

I must admit to liking the look of the midfield and forwards. Only worry is the defence. Not our best in the air and Akanji has the habit of following the attacker when he drops deep, thus leaving a lot of space behind. A dangerous game against Kane who likes to drop deep.

Anyway, let's hope it all works out and we get the win.

Some real mard arsed fuckers on here, Pep has picked what he believes to be the right side for the match today. Personally I am loving having Alverez and Haaland starting together, Mahrez and Grealish have been our best wide pairing in recent weeks so good to have them there as well.

For what it's worth I think Pep is trying to reinvent a back three formation with Lewis dropping back when needed, on the attack he gives us the extra midfielder. Very interested to see how this pans out today.

Yeah I don’t mind the team. I’m happy to see Haaland, Alvarez, Grealish and Mahrez all start.

The defence is what it is now, we are short on defenders, it’s no secret. No point in overthinking it because we can’t create new ones out of thin air at this point. We still have more than enough quality in the side to win games.

Are you really asking that? It’s obviously back 4 (with Lewis dropping into mid when we have the ball) Rodders as holder, then Bernie and Alvarez (just behind Haaland) centre, Jack and Mahrez wide and Haaland up top
I'm amazed that plenty on here can't see that. But then; this is Bluemoon, after all. Wait until the match thread, and we go behind!

Well, I think it's pretty obvious Alvarez is not going to play DM.

But if the formation is as obvious as you say (effectively so obvious that only an idiot would think otherwise) why on earth did the BBC set it out in the ridiculous way it has?

On paper I don't mind that starting 11. It's either going to be brilliant or dogshit though. We will know within about the first 10 mins which way it will go. Hopefully we will blow these away. Come on boys!
