I’ve literally just got back from The algarve after a detour to Brittany on EasyJet to refuel due to a strike in Portugal. Quick shower then out!

Think it will need 3 goals tonight. I can’t see Spurs not scoring. Even if we got 2-0 up we can’t rest. The last 10/15 mins would be a hard watch in those circumstances! Real nail biter!
 
I’ve got strong feeling for 2-0, that does means it’s going to be nervy as hell but I’ll take it

Just out of curiosity (not being a smart arse) who did they play when he was out? I genuinely don't know. He is class Harry kane as much as I hate him.

Tbh I thought they looked better without him the other night. Quite a selfish player who doesn't offer a lot outside the box.
 
Please no Mahrez, we need to going at 100mph from the off.
Leroy Kun Razza need to have had shooting practice in training. We MUST put the chances away tonight. I don’t think they’ll give us many.
 
If go through we face Ajax in the semi finals

Plus Kane their best player by far is out alongside Dier, Winks, and Aurier

Plus we have a fully fit squad except for Zinchenko

Plus we are playing at home and Spurs aren’t spectacular

I mean if we don’t go through frankly it will be a major disappointment. This is when big teams and big players show up.

Expecting a lot of De Bruyne, I’m expecting Aguero to make up for his penalty miss and poor performance this weekend. I’m expecting Sterling to score and cause problems.

Let’s fucking do this and reach the Champions League Semi finals for the second time!! Smash these Spurs!!

My only criticism of Pep is that he seems to have a tendency to overthink things in this stage of the competition, and change up his tactics and formation. This goes back a few years...last week, De Bruyne in a holding role last year, throwing out a high press against Barca in 2014/2015 when he was with Bayern and getting destroyed...

Yes, agree with this. Appreciate Pep's master-plans are designed to take the opposition off-guard, but they seem to confuse our own players more.
We just need to do what has served us so well all season.

Delph, for whatever reason, is having the season from hell ... he's only had 2 Champs League games at left-back, and they were our 2 defeats (Lyon & Spurs).
He was at left-back for 3 of our 4 PL defeats.
He was on the pitch for an hour at Swansea, during which we went 0-2 down (he also conceded a penalty). Then he was subbed off and we came back to win 3-2.
And he has captained just one match - which became our only home PL defeat (Palace).
Really not his season.

Our full back positions will be under siege.
A more than obvious weakness there.
Son and Moura? Scary.

Just hope missed pens don't come back and haunt us this season. We could be sitting pretty at this moment. But hey ho.COYB.
