Hats off to City for a truly memorable display at Old Trafford yesterday.

There have been cracks showing in United's defence all season but full marks to City for taking full advantage and putting them to the sword.

Regardless of the cash invested in the club (which, let's face it, has been substantial), City are on top of the League because they have the strongest squad of players and are finally beginning to gel as a proper team under Mancini.

We should look at buying one or two of their wantaways come the end of the season.....Modric would be excellent in a good side, same with Bale to. So sad to see such good quality go to waste in what is mid to top ten side.

I hate to see that, it's like seeing some old fella driving a sports car that never gets over 50mph. Total total waste on talent. Modric will go at a reasonable price as he's desperate to play with real quality. Bale's a bit thick but we could offer him real stardom, rather than the current Europa and a mid table lifestyle.

Saying that I don't think either would get in our current side, but they both would almost definitely get in our Carling cup squad.

Spurs have spent millions upon millions and yet still they languish behind Alan Pardews NUFC......It's that sort of frustration around a clubs lack of endeavour that turns the fans into bitter, jealous followers.....Just look at how they complain about West ham and the Olympic stadium!!.......No wonder Modric, Bale and many more will soon want out.

Sorry Pete disagree Bale is over hyped, i want to see more from him tbh and i think so far this season my wariness has been proven right.

Modric is not for us as we have enough to cover his area, be it attacking with Nasri and Silva on or defensive, we have the players to easily go through his natural position, Yaya for a prime example, he kind of just monsters through what Modric needs 10 seconds to do imo.

I can see where your coming from though.
