Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Spurs played with a weakened side but showed far more energy and determination than City .
We strolled about fluffing gilt edged chances all that first half.
The Doku injury meant they weren't pinned back on their left and looked far better than us across the pitch.
Ederson and Guardiol poor ,Bernie and Alvarez poor but I thought Haaland was awful.

We’ve got a mentality issue at the moment. We’ve taken three points from the games against Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs. We’ve conceded in or after the 90th minute in three of them and the 80th against Liverpool to drop points.

We need some players to step up on the pitch and lead the team here, the next game is a huge test without Rodri. Let’s see what we are made of.

poor performance.....no excuses

Midfield is wide open....Rodri cant do it all himself.....Problem is that neither Kovacic or Nunes appear to be the answer
Second half was the worst performance of the season.

Yes we are missing KDB but that aint the problem...we havent got control of the midfield defensively or when trying to retain the ball/possession.

Playing style this season is piss poor sold Mahrez, Gundo, Laporte, Palmer. Replacement not even near, and totally wrong. Sorry to say but all brains n arteta, borell and marchesa is gone, and thats shows this season. 9 goals against in 4 games in piss poor defence and style period.

We'll all be pretty much in agreement that we are shipping way too many goals, and that's not good enough.

But then you have an absolutely astonishing fuck up by the ref, with Jack pretty much clean through, followed by a penalty turned down when we have seen softer ones given all season.

I'd say we were robbed of three points this time, but overall we're well off the pace. Three names spring to mind here, you all know who. None of them in the squad but had those three been playing we'd have won that game easily.
