Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

We can't bask in the glory of being Treble winners because this country's media won't allow it if you hadn't noticed.
Instead of reading what an amazing achievement that was (like the rags could) we are called cheats etc.
I for one is fucking livid at how we are perceived and you would have to be blind not to notice the agenda against us, on and off the pitch.
Then just ignore it mate. Just watch the highlights on YouTube of the Champions League final, FA Cup final, etc. and tune everything else out. Put Greatest Hits Radio on instead of TalkSport, put Netflix on instead of Sky Sports. Nothing can take the feeling away of that night in June and you shouldn't let the likes of Simon Jordan and his ilk ruin it for you.

Very exciting game - scoring 3 at home should mean a win but simple fact is we seem incapable of keeping a clean sheet at the moment. We are missing balance in the midfield - to expect Akanji to thrive in the Stones role is too much to ask, great defender but his positioning on transitions is not good. John being fit will help the defence tighten up - they look too exposed without him.

Big issue for me is the amount of times we get into positions to play a first time ball to Erling and not play it is staggering. Today I counted at least 10 times when he made a great run and no pass was played. Kev can't come back soon enough so if we can keep within touching distance until he returns we are fine. All the talk of course is how many Spurs were missing but for us to be at our best we need a more balanced team and that is one with John and Kev in it.

We all know the form will come but at least today was a good watch as apposed to the Liverpool game which was a bit drab.

I have absolutely no fucking words for how that's ended up 3-3. I said before the game to mate that if we don't put our chances away, we won't win. I knew they'd get chances, so we needed to be lethal. So when the best striker in the world puts it wide from 6 yards out, you know its not going to he your day. Put 20 quid on the draw at 8-1 at 2-1 because I could see where it was going. Absolute sick! But the the biggest indictment on this game is not the bad defending, or the shite finishing, but the fact that we're talking about a fucking referee decision after a brilliant 6 goal game(for the neutral not us) rather than the game itself. :(

Frustrating for a number of reasons-
We are not clinical enough in front of goal. Haarland must do better. Missed two chances in the first half and in the second half was too static. Our midfield is so open it offers no protection. Rodri needs some support, he has none. Really missing Stones. We've gone from keeping clean sheets to regularly shipping goals. We just seem disjointed and lackluster. Pep needs a rethink if we're going to go on any kind of winning run after Christmas.

Thought the ref was utterly woeful.

What happened to the City that were always pressing for goals, even when we were ahead? We were second best here make no mistake. To many players just going through the motions. Our midfield were outplayed and outran. To be honest, spurs played our game against us and as much as I detest them they deserved the point. Pep needs to have a plan b for games like this.
We were second best and yet the deserved a point ? Contradiction.
