Just arrived home from the game so only seen a few posts but the stench of overreaction is strong.

No, it’s not good enough that we have thrown away so many points late in games from leading positions. Too many mistakes are being made at both ends of the pitch but much of our play is good, because we have fantastic players.

We are missing Stones, KDB and Gundo; hard not to.

Two of those players should be back before too long but Gundo ultimately chose to leave so it is no use bemoaning his absence too much. However it does so how underrated he was by far too many supporters for much of his time at City. His game intelligence is a miss. However, he is the only player from last season’s best XI that has gone. I do wonder if Jack could move into his role.

Yeah that's fair enough. Sounded like he blew when he first put the whistle to his lips, on that Sky enhanced audio thing, and it corresponded with his arm actions/signals, but have gone back to it and yeah there's nothing is there. Think he's just got mixed up and blown to give himself a second to think without realising he's ended an attack. Shit happens init.

I can confirm it is just midnight and I am Stoned.

Frustrating not getting the win today. Last year we won the Champions league as we defended well against the bigger teams and would always score. This year the defence has looked shaky without Stones and feel in some games our midfield has struggled.

Good point salvaged but that decision to pull it back couldn’t have been more corrupt!

Alvarez made 7 key passes today, including an excellent assist. He also was close to scoring when he hit a post. That hardly counts as piss poor.

He was at fault though for their second goal when he conceded possession with a poor choice of pass.

And lost possession on 3 or more occasions. Twice because he was dawdling in good positions causing counters from Spurs. Either play him as a striker or not at all, certainly not in midfield. He been off it for a few weeks, he’s not alone though.
