Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Spurs may have come away with the three points but the real winner yesterday was me - they've started serving draught Guinness in my block and at £5.50 with my 10% discount (thank you Sheikh Mansour) is probably the cheapest pint of Guinness in town.

Collective shit show yesterday thoroughly deserved to lose. Cannot give the ball away in important areas and not expected to be punished against quality opposition. Having said that created enough chances to not lose.

The usual suspects giving pelters nothing changes on bluemoan

This post, christ all mighty, I can honestly say now, you know fuck all about football.
I'd rebut this post - but it's entirely devoid of thoughtful, factual analysis. If you disagree with me (you do) - why not state precisely why? - and then we can debate. That way you might convince me, or me you, or we might agree to disagree.

Your current post is a "no you!" emotional response - which offers no insight at all.

Haaland missing chances he would normally put away easily.
Foden off form.
Savinho brilliant in flashes, bags of skill, end product has been poor, adjusting to PL life.
Bernardo off form, low on confidence.
KDB coming back from injury.
Gundogan struggling, probably was not meant to play so many games.
Rico played out of position and young.
Gvardiol playing out of position.
Walker seems like his legs are gone, or at least can't perform 90 mins at this level, werner beating him for pace says it all.
Stones struggling with injury.
Nunes doesn't seem good enough.
Jack out of favour.
Ruben, Doku, kovacic, Rodri, Bobb all injured.
Youth players making up the bench who can't be expected to step up as they have never really got much of a chance before now.

Apart from that we seem ok

What's more frustrating is don't know if it was me but it seemed like they didn't even have to work hard for those 3 points.

We all knew they would score on their first shot on target soon as their 2nd went in it was game over.

So annoying how we have had such a poor transfer window this season we shouldn't be Rodri FC with the resources we have.

Lewis is a 19 year old kid and should only be being phased in and out at this point in his development.

The current injury situation and the fact Nunes is dog shit has forced Pep’s hand.
Problem for Lewis is he has no pace or stamina, and he's 19...pace and stamina, two essential attributes for a Pep player in this City squad. Twice in the first half when we lost the ball on the half way line, right in front of Pep, he was just ambling back at half speed and basically just gave up chasing back. Not sure if that's something they can work on?

Was Shockin performance, get that young nico in midfield until we buy sumone january, the others just avent got the legs to do it,its as simple as that, gonna be a tough watch at anfield next week if turn up with same team, thats for sure, city will put this right and they are goin to spend, wouldent be suprised if we splash a fair bit in January
