Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I must say that after the last four outings I was expecting a bit of a reaction from the team. Clearly looks like they can’t be arsed.

Not good enough today and the past month as well, not by a long way good enough. Some players need to have a good look at themselves and ask themselves are they up for the fight ahead because, believe me, we're in for a fight now. Yes we can blame injuries but we also need to realise we have not bought well in the past two seasons. Nunes and Kovacic are not good enough to play consistently well for a sustained period of time. We've got no back up for Rodri at all. Some players have reached the end of their cycle at the club (Walker, Gundogan and maybe DeBruyne) and have to be replaced.

We are in transition no doubt about that and we all knew that time was about to come around but let's hope we don't fall of a cliff and end up struggling not only to qualify for the Champions League but European football itself. We're in danger of that happening, no doubt about that.

It's brutal watching the club at the moment but these things do happen but it time for players to either stand up and be counted or give up and leave the club.
