Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Not long back from the game. I thought we were lightweight in midfield and got over run.Defensively we we were at times inept. Kovacic was a big miss for us. At least he provides some physicality in midfield.

All in all a difficult watch, I might be wrong but I suspect next Sunday's game will be just as difficult to watch.

We have now lost 3 league games which is as many as we lost in the whole of last season.

How was the match day thread? If previous form is anything to go by I suspect it could be a classic

I'm sure you're being shit on for this, but it's why I wasn't ecstatic as most over Pep's extension. The team needs a fresh set of eyes currently. I hope he can prove me wrong.
Who do you suggest we go for then..
Fuck me we have the best manager in the world..we have a blip and you are calling him out..

Love this forum. Absolute wet lettuces who know nothing other than being spoilt

For the empty heads, this is football. Sometimes you go through a major slump, the same ones you all enjoy other clubs’ demise when they’re going through it.

We WILL be champions come May.

And then you can all take your faces for a massive dump an apologise.
What an absolute dog shit post. We have just been tonked 4 nil at home, making it 5 losses on the spin. Fans are allowed to voice their displeasure and anger. Claiming we will be champions is rag as fuck. Gimp

We were the better team for the opening spell. Looked bang up for it. Then typically didn't take our chances and fell apart. I thought Foden was back after that early glide past Bissouma. But he, like most of them, bottled pretty much any contact that came his way.

No one looks arsed.

Doesn't help that the captain is Walker who should do the honourable thing and bench himself. Legs are gone and he doesn't have anything else to his game. Gundo too, bench option but cannot start with his lack of mobility and physicality.

I wouldn't mind losing 4-0 if we were seeing O'Reilly or Wright or McAtee given a chance to develop. But what's the point in keeping faith in players who have shown they're over the hill now?

Tactically I agree with Pep, you don't abandon something that's served you so well. But we don't have the same core that brought that success.

Akanji has to play RB. And we need to somehow find some physicality in the middle...but as that doesn't look possible we should blood some youth. Give the seniors a kick up the arse if nothing else.
“I wouldn't mind losing 4-0 if we were seeing O'Reilly or Wright or McAtee given a chance to develop.”
Sentimental bollocks.
