IT was a bad decision by Pep to put Bernardo on the left when Riyadh came on. It should have been Phil.
As it was both of them had negligible impact because of that.
Thought Kevin’s workmate great but execution poor

Bernardo is at his best when he's in a midfield three he can be non existent when he's playing out wide, He can influence the game when he's in the middle.
Don't get me started on how Foden lasted 90 minutes.

The boy's not been in the best of form since he struck up his bromance with Grealish. He needs to be rested for a couple of games & used as a sub for the next couple after that until he gets back to being the player we know he is.

Yea I agree, can only see them potentially dropping points against us. That front 5 is ridiculously strong. Stones needs to be playing more than Laporte for me. Love foden but he has been below par for a while. Its going right to the wire this.

Yeah you’re right, but when they say it’s in your hands it means that you’re not relying on another team taking points off the team you’re competing with. Liverpool no longer are. If they win every remaining game they will win the league… but so will we

Cancelo is shit at defending and always has been but we accept that because is forward play is immense . Walker was awful today and at fault for the third goal as he lost possession in midfield .

We had an off day at the back but dippers defence are very shakey imo. Plus, they won't play 5 or 6 at the back against us.

I have come on here as a (for my sins) Birmingham City supporter but, I absolutely love Man City and I love to watch them and I really want them to win the title again.
However, I felt that I must have a little say about todays match against Spurs. Your boys effectively played them off the park today but so much possession got them nowhere. I do feel that they try to be that bit too fancy with one (or more) pass too many far too often. It's very frustrating to see them dominating the game but just not making inroads to getting the goals they need.
Today was a typical example of too much tippy tappy between players out the wings.

Spurs got their goals with nowhere near as many passes and proved the effectiveness of more direct play.

I hope that they get their act together on the run in to the end of the season. Having the boys in red right up their backsides might just be the 'spur' that they need to get the job done.

Just my two cents worth.

You can only play like that if you are a side built to play on the counter attack. City play against parked buses most weeks and so were built to open up sides in that way. Sadly it means clubs like Spurs and sadly United have recently given us a bloody nose as they have the players the room to exploit the space behind. Just the way it is sadly.
