I appreciate City have every right to be confident but dismissing Spurs as having no chance in 100 is... err.. quite surprising.

A long shot but any City fans in Zaragoza today and do you know where I can fine a decent bar with the match on ? Had to travel for there for work

I hope Spurs come at us - would suit us down to the ground. If they sit back (like they usually do against us) they'll be playing a game that isn't their normal style, and we've improved massively in dismantling teams that park the bus.

Gallagher’s. Don’t usually recommend Irish bars but the Spanish ones tend not to open until later.

I am partly from Zaragoza (English/Spanish parents), funny enough. There used to be a great pub to watch just off Independencia but it shut a few years ago and I haven’t been back during the season since.

You’re fortunate that we’re the late kickoff and Real Zaragoza play even later, as it means you can probably get it on.

I would try either Bull McCabe’s on Calle Cadiz (also just off Independencia) or Gallaghers on Calle Murallas Romanas — you may need to ask to have a screen changed, but they should be happy enough to oblige. May have a fair few Spurs fans in, though.

Alisson was out of form pre-injury, but is pivotal to their style of play. Adrian is a good, but not exceptional goalkeeper - in his own mind he's the best. Cocky ? He definitely affects Liverpool's style of play and will create uncertainty in the team's approach.
 
They're going to try and do a Mourinho on us, like they normally do. Players behind the ball, and probe for any errors we make near the halfway line and try to pounce with quick counters and create one on ones.

No sloppiness at the back, and a sharp Ederson, and we should be fine.

Opening match of the season so getting decent tickets on the day will be slightly more difficult than usual, even with how far we’ve fallen, and you’ll have about 30 minutes to get to La Romareda before kickoff (after City’s match finishes, which is possible), but if you can manage it, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

We are definitely not the team of the late 2000’s but we do have a few talented youngsters coming through that you’ll eventually see playing for clubs in the CL and our atmosphere is usually very good (and will be for the first match this year, as there is some positivity going in to this year’s campaign).

If you do go I would love to hear about it.
 
Game day let's 'ave it

No idea on team except he won't drop john 2nd game in for dinho who hasn't played there but a few mins and is still learning the position,i would put dinho in for rodders as he is still dawdling and giving away the ball in dangrous area but then would dinho last the whole game,questions questions
