You don't think this argument has implications for you then?

How much has the Spurs plan been estimated to cost?

The taxpayer: £0
Spurs and AEG: £150-£200m.....

This includes the rebuilding of Crystal Palace....

The stadium has already cost the taxpayer £500m..... West Ham's proposal will cost the taxpayer another £80m and the Porn Kings and The Brady Witch however little they can get away with.....

Most of the people on here think Harry Redknapp is as dodgy as they come (and he might very well be) but Gold and Sullivan are something else.....

That Karen Brady did the sales pitch of the decade on talksport, some fucker should have let her sort our world cup bid out.

Got a lot of time for her, I'll admit (in fact, any time).

Great news this (although I think Orient and WHU ground sharing the venue would be an even better outcome.

Where've you got those figures (Spurs and AEG) from? I want some links. I'm extremely dubious. Ours cost £150m and it isn't as big, nor being built in London, nor including the dismantling of the stadium (do you expect to make a profit on this, and if so, why do you expect to make it and not the taxpayer?)

Skashion there will be implications, but our 36k stadium has been sold out for home fans for every single league game for the past 10 years more or less.....

Sure, when it comes to it how many fans will fork out for a ST from the waiting list....??

The waiting list stands at around 40,000 (and that's a paid list, you don't get on unless you fork out £30 a year)....

27,000 current ST Holders
4,000 executive box holders
70,000 members
40,000 on the waiting list....

If 25% of the waiting list take the ST option..... you have 37,000 ST holders.... the number of executive box holders will double in the OS to 8,000.... so you are already at 45,000 without looking at members buying tickets on a match to match basis which I have to do for my 7 year old son....

I know it the CL and it's AC Milan, but 5,000 tickets went on sale to members today at 9:30am and were gone in 45 mins.... a stadium like the OS will attract the "tourist" trade too.... a couple of thousand a game.... away allocations more often than not take up 3-3500... or more....

I would estimate 50,000 bums on seats for every home with ST Holders, corporates, away fans and tourist trade.... that leaves 10,000 tickets for members, once a season fans etc.

We would comfortably average 55,000 over the course of a season.....

West Ham would be lucky to average 35,000.......

Now you're putting forward a proper case, it's your previous argument that's full of shit. You can't just say here look at these attendance figures, they prove they won't sell out like we will. Because they don't come down very decisively in your favour and by your argument that you can't magic up fans, you'd struggle in a 60k stadium because you haven't been anywhere near that level for a long long time.

What does stack up are the studies of the your countrywide fanbase (believed to be over one million) and the fact that you sell out your current stadium (as we did at Maine Road). That is the correct methodology.

We won't make a profit on re-designing the stadium......

The figures came from one of the designers I know involved with the NDP project at Spurs, so there are no links.... the figures I would guess do not include the cost of dismantling the stadium, but these are costs Spurs/AEG will bear.....and were a rough estimate....

Press reports a month or so ago claimed Spurs moving the OS would save them £200m on the proposed NDP project.... ergo the figures I mentioned would be in the ballpark....

Spurs and AEG will fund the project themselves and through financial institutions.....

Spurs now own a massive amount of real estate in (all be it a crap area) N17 that they mostly bought fairly cheaply and is now worth a lot more as it now has planning consent, yes for a stadium on part of it, but if we move, Haringey know there is little point being churlish about amending the consent as we will sell the land to developers and let them change the consent.....

The latest set of turnover figures will look very different next year when we have the additional £30m-£40m from the CL campaign..... new shirt deals for the PL and cups..... I would expect our turnover to grow from the £118m this year, to around £180-£190m next year.... with a wage bill of just over £60m, this gives us flexibility with the stadium financing and attracting top players to the club too....
