Obviously, I voted for Mahrez. But Rico, being the new kid, definitely did not need any additional firing up at half time

Lewis has got that hunger to go with the fact he’s a belting player.

How many 18 year olds can play full back and also saunter about in the centre of City’s midfield like they’ve been doing it 10 years?

That’s fucking outrageous.
Unbelievable pal, I just hope he keeps his feet firmly on the ground. A truly wonderful talent.

Very close decision. Marhez 2nd half match winner when the team finally pulled together, but I went for Lewis, who was head n shoulders above anybody in the first half when the team were struggling. What a player we have on our hands here.

I'll tell you what astonished me in that first half. It was as if he were the elder statesman, patiently trying to play other much more senior players playing poorly into the game.
And in the second half: that certain Spurs goal he stopped by literally putting his body on the line like a maniac!

If City had bought him for 100 million from Italy or Spain, we'd all be rubbing our hands now saying money well spent. But he's one of us and cost fuck all!! :)

Absolute rubbish. Grealish and Rico played out of their socks all 90 minutes.
Just re-watching the full game now (65 mins gone we're 3-2 up, no spoilers). I didn't realize how well we played in the first half, although without much goal threat. You're right about Lewis and Grealish. If the game had ended at half time Lewis would probably have been MotM.
In my defense I did have a few celebratory beers last night. Note to self - don't post when pissed
