Spurs Post Match Thread | ICC match in Nashville

I spent the first two minutes trying to figure out who no21 was!! Haha
I'm almost amazed nasri is surplus to requirements but maybe that just highlights how strong we actually are.
Was going to say "played some super football..."
But that would not be accurate, we were immense for almost all of it, so impressive to watch! We played some great football over the last number of years.. but I can't remember seeing anything to this standard! Roll on the season!!
Yes I was almost going to say I have never seen City play as well as that but then I thought well it was a pre-season friendly.

What seriously impressed me was the total commitment of the City players to the game. We played with the intensity of a real game, whereas SPurs were hapless. One team looked like a very motivated, professional team, whilst the other looked like they could not be bothered.

I was also very impressed with the amount of City fans at the game. Must have 3/4 of what looked like about 60,000

Looked good on those highlights. Who is that 2nd half keeper? He looked decent.

Need to get better with the chances though. Killed us last season that and can't allow that this season.

Good stuff

A very impressive performance . We didn't play it like it was a friendly, other than the substitutions.
Spurs are a good side but we had an intensity that was missing from their play. From back to front we had a desire to dominate the ball, win possession back and do something with it. It bodes well.

Absolutely awesome. We're playing the Pep way, finally.

Ederson, Stones, Kompany, Walker, Danilo, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Diaz - Wow.

I'm slightly worried about Sane, he has no place in this system, so I'm hoping we switch to our normal 4-3-3 quite often to give him a game! But 5-3-2 is so solid and our movement is fantastic. Would like to see him given a chance up top, where Sterling did so well today.

Bring on Brighton.

Anyone heard anything about Walker knee injury? Just saw on sky sports that Walker went off after 75mins with knee injury? Not seen this reported anywhere else....anything to worry about? cheers

Post match Pep says no injuries so just ignore it.
