Spurs Post Match Thread | ICC match in Nashville

I'd like to see teams try to press us with a high line. Especially on our goal kicks. A couple of bombs over their heads from Ederson and they'll soon fuck off back to square one.

Bloody scary that we dominate like this, even without Bernardo Silva and Mendy :D

Ederson looks very promising, so does Danilo, find it difficult to see that Clichy and Kolarov would have been in the same positions as Danilo last night.

You should have read ours, we were winning from 10mins on but the desperation at the misses was quite intense for some posters who could barely control their disappointment :)

To be fair I don't think it is desperation or even disappointment, well I know it wasn't for me! It was more frustration that, from what I was reading on the Match Day thread, and also on another thread, we were missing goals, hitting the post etc., etc., and was giving me the feeling that we were going back to last season when you began to wonder if the goal posts they were using in training were wider than the ones on the actual pitch!!! :-)

Was just triggering flashbacks of the nightmares from last season. Just ended up watching in sheer exasperation at the unfathomable way we managed to miss those chances.

That Rag twat Robson in the MUEN has been up to his old tricks yet again, giving Danilo 6/10. I genuinely would not tire of jumping on this bitter little bastards head!

SSN have changed their narrative on the Nasri situation by saying he has revived his City career. They missed out all the other stuff Pep said which was more along the lines of it's too late, but given the choice I'd have Nasri back in a heartbeat.

It was interesting to hear Pep say the press officers told him about reports that Nasri was misbehaving and pissing everyone off which turns out to be complete bollocks and 'Just people getting at the guy for no reason'. A focused Nasri in a Pep side could be something else.

but he'd take up a foreign spot

Pochettino making excuses that they are a bit behind City in the preseason. They actually started back a week earlier than us.
