Looks untidy because he has disguised his shot. Vorm expecting it hard to his left as Raheem cooly puts it the other way. Wouldn't expect a ex rag to understand subtlety

Very good performance albeit Spurs didn't seem to wake up until midway through the 2nd half. I thought Nasri brought us an assurance to our play and kept us ticking nicely. If only we could combine him with Fernando's physicality and attitude, we'd have a fuckin world beater on our hands!

It's pre-season & I never read much into these matches, but it's always nice to get a win regardless.

Absolutely battered them. Couldn't work out whether we were that good, or Spurs just weren't bothered. we seemed to have put in twice the effort that Spurs did. Great crowd, City fans everywhere. Utd fan I was with reckoned that the organisers must have handed them out.

The football we play is out of this world. I was really impressed tonight. I can't help but feel we should have scored a lot more though. Sounds picky but when the game is on a knife edge it could be the difference. Anyway well done all round tonight. Looking in good shape for the season ahead.

It could and should have been 6 or 7. Spurs were absolutely woeful, but we did press them into a lot of mistakes.
