Still can't get over Bale's statistics this year. 7 Goals, 1 Assist. Good player but he's ridiculously overrated. The next Theo Walcott, media propaganda at it's finest. Think AJ's got something like 4 goals and 5 assists which is already better than Bale. Why wasn't he up for player of the year?

Because he has lived there for the last 25+ years and 98% of his companies operate outside the UK.

With regards to the best center backs in the league this year:

People claiming its a toss up between Gallas and Kompany should consider whether Kompany has been consistant all season. Gallas has imo, (apart from the first 3 or 4 games) but Kompany only started showing real form after christmas.

Still not convinced?

Ask yourself whether Kompany has put in a performance anywhere near the level Gallas did at the Emirates, San Siro and against Milan at WHL.

His standard rating this season has been an 8, with a few 10s thrown in for good measure.

You cannot even begin to reason with a person who thinks gallas is a better centreback than kompany its just laughable. Thats not city bias thats just having an ounce of sense about football

Some clown on there thinks we've only won the top title once. Obviously doesn't know about pre-war or something. 1937 and 1968 = 2.
