Spurs thread 2020/21

Would seem plenty of Tottenham fans think they are getting Rodgers. Would be a sorry proliferation of the 'big 6' diatribe pushed by the media but thankfully, suspect this is just the media getting the Spurs fan something to look and point at.

Nah. Rodgers has never been a serious proposition. Too long remaining on his contract and, right now, he'd be mad to leave Leicester for Spurs. Quite apart from which, he's still seen as too much of a Brenton and a bit of a choker (although that might perfectly qualify him for the Spurs job).

Nagelsmann was the main target (and was keen to come) before the Hansi Flick situation at Bayern blew up. Nagelsmann (who is a Bayern fan) is now almost certain to take over from Flick.

Top of the list now appears to be Ten Hag. Rangnick is another possibility - but the idea of him and Levy being able to work together seems very remote. The options drop off rather alarmingly after that, albeit that Graham Potter would be an interesting, if very risky, appointment.

Must admit, would be interested too see how Potter would get on, but maybe it’s little too soon

Over heard to spurs fans in the street today talking about the final.

I was shocked they were full of phrase for City ! Saying what a great team City and play great football. Plus what a great player Foden is. Nice to hear ;)

Well anyone who watched that game would have to be the most biased Spurs fan ever to admit anything else. Only poor finishing, great keeping and shot blocking saved them from a hiding. If we'd have scored early it would have been.
