Spurs thread 2020/21

No I reckon if Levy promised him funds he would jump ship tomorrow. Leicester are doing great but Spurs will always be a more high profile media loved club. Add the new stadium into the mix and I reckon he'd sign. Then he'd be back to raid Leicester for their bright young stars.
Spurs are skint unless they sell Kane or Son

The more I see Kane the more evident it becomes that he can barely run. He might have one or two more good seasons left in him at best.

Can see where you are coming from but playing Devil's Advocate, I would suggest he has continued to be overused at Spurs. He barely gets a rest. That may explain some of the sluggishness.

He's injured half the season. He gets a rest.

Umm.....he is having a brilliant season in a woefully underperforming Spurs team that creates next to nothing for him. He is top PL scorer with 21 goals. He is top assister with 13. He is miles ahead of the competition in the combined stats. He has also scored a further 10 goals and 3 assists in the cups.

He has never been a player whose effectiveness was based on pace or physical attributes. So there's no reason to believe that he's in for the kind of rapid decline that you predict. If anything, this season has shown that he is getting better.

This.

He's got the right mentality for Pep.

As an aside. Spurs media saying the waistcoat is the favourite for the job. Meaning Levy will appoint Eddie Howe.

Southgate? No chance! Howe likewise.

Thankfully.
