Is there any chance that we threw this away deliberately so that Spurs can with the 4th spot?

Because I'm struggling to find a better explanation for the total capitulation by players and manager in the second half. It's almost like we deliberately didn't adjust to the changes by AVB. Surely Mancini isn't THAT clueless.

We have NO options. Once Milner went off we had nothing on the bench.

Sorry but come on ffs, nothing on the bench?

Poor old Bob having to do the job with one hand behind his back according to some on here and its laughable.

AVB does Mancini again. Same tactics. Replay of the Chelsea away game last season.

Dzeko is like having 10 men, and for some reason Roberto was content with 10 men until we kicked the game away.

The rags say thanks.

Us having 10 men was fine until Spurs decided to start playing with 11 instead of 10 (AdebayPOOR)

Seriously lack of balls from Mancini there... was like Champions League all over again.

Knew we needed to change and pack the midfield as it was getting ran down. What on earth was the point in Dzeko? May aswell just play Tevez up front on his own.

And then at 3-1 down we send in Sinclair? Why bother?

Why, why , why did Mancini stand on the touchline shaking his head, instead of changing something to counter the change in formation that Spurs made

Shite. Just shite.

Let's look at this way though, we all knew that United were going to win it months ago, we have a FA Final, lets win that and move on.

A couple of years ago we would of dreamed of 2nd in the Prem and a FA Cup Final.

Not good enough today but not the end of the world.

Positives - good 1st half, Nasri looked good again, end of the season is nearer, Dzeko will hopefully go in the summer, his touch today was amateurish
Negatives - how we managed to concede 3 goals in 6 minutes against a team who'd hardly troubled us all afternoon, sums up our season in the league really, Roberto failing to change things when they changed things in midfield and we were starting to get over run.

Happy with 1-0. Settled for 1-0 and that's why we got our butts kicked in the end. Took our foot so far off the gas it wasn't true and ended up getting beaten by a team who were nowhere near their best.

Fitness and attitude have to be questioned again.

-- Sun Apr 21, 2013 2:27 pm --

Happy with 1-0. Settled for 1-0 and that's why we got our butts kicked in the end.
