Spurs Vs City Post Match Discussion thread

Not Mancini's best game. Why did he leave Dzecko on for so long? Why did'nt he shore up the midfield when Spurs made thier changes? Everyone could see Spurs were getting the upper hand, yet he did fuck all to try and change things. Very puzzling.

1-0 up and around 60 mins Spurs switch to 433 and completely dominate us.

Mancini really has no clue when there is a drastic change in tactics.

Once again his inability to react has cost us.

Mancini got it tactically very wrong.

At half time, if Milner was injured (I assume whats why he was subbed), Javi Garcia or Rodwell should have been brought on alongside Barry, pushing Yaya up.

Edin Dzeko isn't good enough. I'm sure somebody will reply with stats proving he is, but I have eyes and he is not good enough to play in this team. What did he offer today? Adebayor got a lot of stick, but Dzeko was no better today.

Kolorov is another player who isn't good enough. He didn't look bothered and failed to impress again. Would be quite happy if he never played for us again, he's nowhere near the level required.

Why did we sit back so much in the second half? Why were we so scared of Tottenham with Huddlestone, Siguardsson and Dempsey?

We were in total control of the game and to collapse like that was unbelievable. Mancini has a lot of explaining to do, I'm sorry but look at his passion compad to AVB's. Mancini just didn't look that interested today.

Re: Any doubt of offside in Spurs goals

We so shit in the second half that they didn't even have to worry about being offside!

I'm a Mancini inner but he's had a horror show today. If he didn't want to risk Aguero, why put him on the bench? We've seen the desperation of Lescott up front again, seriously, where is the suggestion of this being a good idea come from? Milner got injured, fair enough, but apart from Barry who is too slow, that wiped out our graft in midfield. AVB saw this and added Holtby while Mancini sat on his hands and did fuck all.

At times Mancini signs his own death warrant.
There are times when he really doesn't do himself any favours. Stevie Wonder could see that the game was drifting away from us in the second half, but he did fuck all about changing it until it was too late.

Is there any chance that we threw this away deliberately so that Spurs can with the 4th spot?

Because I'm struggling to find a better explanation for the total capitulation by players and manager in the second half. It's almost like we deliberately didn't adjust to the changes by AVB. Surely Mancini isn't THAT clueless.

We have NO options. Once Milner went off we had nothing on the bench.

Sorry but come on ffs, nothing on the bench?

Poor old Bob having to do the job with one hand behind his back according to some on here and its laughable.

Tell me what option we had for milner? or any other midfield or forward? We had nothing on the bench.
