Spurs Vs City Post match thread.

Oh and by the way, can I just say that their solitary goal came from a move where the ball went a foot out of play and yet no throw in was given.

Funny enough, I am kind of glad I live in the states and don't get the anti-city bias on commentary from NBC. No "money bags city"
or "destroying football" barbs, sounds like sports pundits are lethal over there.
They're just bitter bastards who can't come to terms with our rise and the demise of the Sky 4. Just enjoy watching them squirm. It wouldn't be the same if we didn't know they were hurting.

Pellegrini’s Spurs counterpart Tim Sherwood was philosophical in defeat and refused to blame refereeing decisions for the scoreline.

“Andre got the first decision right with the offside decision,” Sherwood conceded.

“I think Ade touched it, which makes Michael offside.

“It’s hard enough 11 against 11 against this team - they’re on a different planet to anyone else at the moment.

...Tim Sherwood...

A few points.
Thought Vinny had Adebayor in his pocket all night.
Silva was majestic with his passing and movement
Zabba has incredible fitness and worked brilliantly with Navas.
Clichy had a good game going forward.
Demichellis looked comfortable in midfield
Ferdandinho was the midfield general.
Jovetic looks like he's going to be a great player
Dzeko's finishing was off but his link up play was good

All in all a stunning result that will worry our rivals.

Did Mata's move fall through or something, or Rooney's 300k a week deal put on ice. Short sighted, short minded, blinkered red fucking twating fucking cwunts!.

Yep.

But what the fuck is Pro-Evo?
Video game.

Ah. PES? Once played it but the shoot button is totally different to a video game called FIFA so kept crossing it or passing the ball to the keeper when in on goal.

Brilliant display tonight. Everybody playing their part, Truly a "team performance" with real grit and determination. against a side looking to exact a brutally physical revenge for the previous 6 - 0 drubbing that left them humiliated at the Etihad.. 11 - 1 on aggregate. How pleasing against the Spuds.

Note to self: Must listen to the Alan Brazil Show tomorrow so that i can partake a gigantic slice of schadenfreude with my scrambled eggs and prosecco.
