The first half was some of the best football I've seen ,fucking unbelievable. Had a fiver on Aguero for first goal, done a bottle of wine in, absolutely buzzin'.

Seen the Chelsea result and thought fuck it,I'm bobbing out for a bottle of Prosecco, got round the corner, felt a fart coming on,forced it a little and for the first time since I was 12 I've shit meself. Right down the back of me leg .Had no choice but to carry on to the shop , confidence rocked.

Very much an evening of two halves for me.

Post of the night. Pissed myself reading this :-)

+1... pi$$ing myself...

Remember us under Keegan in Division One?

That's what we're doing now.

I concur. And we won the league by ten points that season, which augers well I thnk.

Well that was fun. Been home long enough from match to have a look at MotD, which didn't have time to show enough footage to do justice to our performance. The first 30 minutes were stunning, the tempo and intelligence of the play with the ball combined with the aggression to win it back when we lost it were an absolute joy to watch. The only major gripe would be that we were not out of sight by then.

Big win and a big performance in every way.

Gutted that Sergio went off injured. Injuries or burn out are the most likely things that could get in our way.

Time to visit dreamland.

Sherwood was class in defeat...

"You have to hold your hands up. Even before the sending off, they worked around the pitch and they came at us from all angles."

"Unfortunately for everyone they play, they don't just score one and then shut up shop, do they? "They keep coming at you and if anyone is going to win the league, you want someone like this team to go on and win it because they entertain. "

Would be perfect two nights if it wasn't to Aguero's injury.

But at least we kept on scoring. Any news on Serge, BTW? He is playing like Messi.

Sergio came off as a precaution, felt a little pain. Will see tomorrow but remains upbeat.

On bench against Chelsea I reckon.

I felt some pain in my right hamstring and left just as a precaution. My studies will tell me the degree of the injury.
It’s a pity about the injury but it’s easier knowing that we are on top. I hope I get back out on the field soon to keep helping the team.

briliant response from an honest manager , a shame more experienced managers like wenger, rodgers and pardew cant accept defeat by a far superior football team.

What a time to be a Blue.

Even that BT twat of a commentator couldn't spoil it with his after-match bollox about refereeing decisions.

That offside goal was actually offside and the free kick that created it should never have been given. On the penalty he couldn't even get David Ginola to agree with him.

Anyway, Ginola and Tim Sherwood were much more gracious. Generous even. Fair play to them. Owen wasn't too bad tonight.

This has to be the most scintillating attacking football ever seen in the Premier League.

Loving Sherwood's comments. Especially the post game conference.

Actually wanting us to win the PL :D
