Sherwood was class in defeat...

"You have to hold your hands up. Even before the sending off, they worked around the pitch and they came at us from all angles."

briliant response from an honest manager , a shame more experienced managers like wenger, rodgers and pardew cant accept defeat by a far superior football team.

+1 on that; just watched the video

Class act:

"Without question. In my opinion, they are the Champions of the League.

"Unfortunately for everyone they play, they don't just score one and then shut up shop, do they? "They keep coming at you and if anyone is going to win the league, you want someone like this team to go on and win it because they entertain. They push on.

"It's not great for an opposition manager, believe me, but they just put you to the sword and that's how football should be played, in my opinion."

A superb performance. First 30 mins we were on a different planet. For some reason I always find humiliating Spurs infinitely enjoyable and the fact that even the lino was taking the piss made it even funnier.

Sherwood had it bob on. Better team by miles. In the spirit of magnanimity I would also advise Sherwood that whilst there is mileage in playing a 'false 9' going with an 'invisible 2' in center mid is not likely to catch on.

I have never been as excited or as confident about winning a game as with this City team and they play with incredible style, they are a joy to watch.
But then I have only been watching them since 1956.

In my opinion the way we played tonight and against Barcodes home and away the RB's, Arsenal, Norwich and Spuds at as good if not better than the Bell, Lee, Summerbee ,Young team of 1968/69. God that seems a long time ago.

And did Hansen really say we are the best team in world at the moment???

The way we harried, hunting in packs to get the ball back and then flying at them full tilt was breathtaking it really was. You can almost hear opposing fans collectivley mumble, "oh fucking hell" when the goals fly in.

The way Pelligrinni has shown trust in some players where there hadn't been under Mancini - or even by the fans - shows how it builds into making the squad altogether more confident.

All we need to do now is do what we do best.

DREAMLAND :)

And to think we had The Beast as an unused sub, and have our best player this season (in my opinion), Nasri, to come back from injury. Frightening!

we all know why we enjoy smashing the fuckers, 1981 lives long in a lot of our memories, i cried my eyes out that day, revenge is sweet, but a mauling is far sweeter

On the American broadcast, Arlo White commented that you often hear the opposition's crowd collectively gasp when we break due to the speed of our counter.
