The first half was some of the best football I've seen ,fucking unbelievable. Had a fiver on Aguero for first goal, done a bottle of wine in, absolutely buzzin'.

Seen the Chelsea result and thought fuck it,I'm bobbing out for a bottle of Prosecco, got round the corner, felt a fart coming on,forced it a little and for the first time since I was 12 I've shit meself. Right down the back of me leg .Had no choice but to carry on to the shop , confidence rocked.

Very much an evening of two halves for me.

As the great billy Connelly says the 3 rules of old age are - Never waste an erection - never trust a fart, and never miss a chance for a piss.

As I type I'm on the met line back from WHL, ruing my neglect of the last rule : but who cares we beat spuds 1-5

The penalty debate is fucking ridiculous and Ginola has just been shouted down for saying the right thing. It's a tackle from behind and even though Rose touches the ball his left leg catches the ankle of Dzeko which makes it 100% a penalty.

The offside was so and so, you can see why the linesman gave it. I think you can make a very fair case for saying Adebayor was offside anyway and there was a blatant foul on Zabaleta two seconds before the free-kick for the cross, which wasn't a foul anyway.

Adebayor was interfering with play even if he hadn't of touched the ball.... But he clearly touches it, so no debate warrented... The TV analysis is some of the worst I've ever seen... thank fuck I don't pay for that shite...

What a performance tonight. Completely demolished them and probably should have had more.

No question about it we are amazing to watch and the manager deserves all the credit after a rocky start. Been a season ticket holder since 81, drink it in, the glory years are just beginning

Another professional proficient performance. Glad Jovetic got his goal. Hope Kun will be back for barca.

I'm sorry, but it was a bit more than that. It was fucking great to watch too.

There were so many great performances tonight but I just want to mention Navas in particular.

He is just getting better and better as the season goes on and he adds so much to the team with his wing play. Also for such a small guy he has certainly met the challenge of the physical side of the Premier League.

It's a shame we didn't quite have time to finish the 2nd set tonight. Anyone know what time play starts on court tomorrow?

Sherwood was class in defeat...

"You have to hold your hands up. Even before the sending off, they worked around the pitch and they came at us from all angles."

briliant response from an honest manager , a shame more experienced managers like wenger, rodgers and pardew cant accept defeat by a far superior football team.

+1 on that; just watched the video

Was a great game to watch if you are a City fan. I think Jovetic still needs more games to get to full match fitness. I'm glad he scored and continues to score as he gets fitter. Certainly hope Kun does not miss the Chelsea game but Dzeko and the Beast have certainly proved their worth playing together. Roll City Roll.

Sorry to all of you. I know, I promised a win and three City goals. That's the normal way when I do City away. This time it have been five goals. So don't be to angry with a small German Blue....
