Spurs Vs City Post match thread.

Anywhere else on the pitch and that's a foul - tackle from behind that makes contact with the player. Different rules apply re the colour of the card because it's in the area - he's just about to shoot - so the ref can give a red. Would have made more sense to give a yellow but that would have meant there would be no controversial decision for the media to latch onto, even though Spurs were getting a footballing lesson with 11 players on the pitch. To his credit, Sherwood recognises this.

Do the mods intercept a lot of posts like this?
Would make a great thread! Just saying!!

Sometimes depends who we are playing against

Posting from my phone as in work at the moment so cannot post a link but Phil McNulty has written a very nice piece about us on BBC football website. Very enjoyable read. Apologies if covered elsewhere.

Probably been covered but even Clive Allen on the commentary slowly changed his mind over the disallowed goal as far as the offside decision but nobody once mentioned adebayor ( clearly offside as the ball is kicked) blatantly trying to stick his nut on the ball right in front of joe, who clearly tried to take it off his head. If that's not interfering with play wtf is? And why has not one media outlet picked up on this , or has one spuds fan accepted the decision?

but that wasn't why the offside was given

so the goal should have stood even though someone else was offside anyway apparently lol

not one mention of the juggler in their penalty area either lol
