Spurs vs City post match

Outplayed in every facet. 2-0 was flattering to be honest.

Kolarov, Zabaleta, Fernando not good enough.

Stones can hold his head high.

What is Sane doing in training to not be able to get a start in this team?

I fear the same thing will happen at Liverpool, we have zero composure against quality pressing teams.

Silva is too lightweight to start centrally the way Pep sets up his teams.

No De Bruyne no Party.

A lot of players have reverted to type and had their limitations thoroughly exposed today. Was like watching us last season in that first half, improvements in the second half but didn't really trouble Spurs.

I'm just glad that this might open the eyes of some people as to the deficiencies that still remain in the squad. Kolarov isn't the second coming of Beckenbauer, Zabaleta has gone, Otamendi is a reckless accident waiting to happen, Fernando isn't good enough. Nor is Navas.

Still lots of work to do for Pep. Have full faith that he will make us formidable.

One word, bullied. Liverpool will do the same to us, we have to many weak players to play against sides wiTh such intensIty and physicality. Awful awful game and we're still a long way of being a pep team. Honeymoon period for us fans well and truly over.

Two key things for me: for the majority of the game we were second to the ball; and our full backs were particularly poor.

I am confident Pep has learned more from this game than any other game we have played this season. onwards and upwards.

Top of the league.

Tired performance and evidence, if it was needed, that our failure to sign fullbacks was monumentally stupid.

Still it's a lesson from which we must learn.

Regardless of our defensive mistakes, how many chances have we created today & who is responsible for it !
