I would only let Barry go if he wanted to leave for more first team football, with yaya, rodwell, fernandinho and javi he may want to leave but in my opinion he is a very useful player and is probably the leagues most underrated player.

I believe Barry will sign a short 1 year extension to his contract and then at age 34 he will begin a new phase of his career at NYCFC.

Unless he was to get much less playing time I think he'd prefer to stay here.

I think he's done a good job for us over the years. Often flying under the radar (partially because he's a good pro) and slagged off by fans of other teams, but think we've always appreciated his efforts.
