Hindsight is a wonderful thing. No one could have predicted Spurs form this year, especially after all the shite they went through with Modric and 'arry being due in the dock and the possibility of them being manager-less due a stay at HMP.

We didn't want his influence around the camp and we needed help to pay his wages for the FFPR.

People are going on as though he's fucking Messi or something. He's not, he's a big daft lazy twat who always shines for the first year at his new club.
Also he can't play against us but he can play and score against our more realistic rivals for the title(Rags, Chelsea and Le Arse)

Last season spurs created lots of chances just had Pav,Defoe and Crouch not finishing. You've got to admit it suits spurs more than us no way they were getting a good striker with them being out of the champions Legue and having wage limits. The League is not decided by two games even if they lose both games it's just 6 points. If they take points from the likes of Chelse or Liverpool is meaning less unless we go on to win them us well. Don't get why we couldn't have given him to Inter and still pay his wages. Were spurs the only team if so then fair enough but i'm he would have had more suiters.
