My pal at the club said they were desperate for haaland to take a shirt number upon signing as it has a huge effect on shirt sales initiallyI wondered whether the lack of shirt number's for Haaland/Alvarez were losing us revenue from shirt sales?
I heard clubs make more when they hold back on releasing numbers because demand is bottled and sudden, when they give out the shirt number. Some financial term was mentioned but I didn't recall its name.2021/22 revenue will no doubt be down a bit but 2022/23 will be up by the same amount if shirts go on sale after 1 July.
That wouldn’t be a bad idea, as there’d be no comparisons to Vinnie, unlike if a centre-back took it.Dias always wanted number 3 didn’t he? No way he gives that up imo. Phillips may take 4?
