squad weaker than last season ?

On paper lampard, milner, dzeko, jovatic for Delph and Sterling doesn't really add up. We have signed some good younger players too but they don't replace the experience we have lost and our current manager doesn't play youth.

So currently we have a weaker squad in my opinion.
I also read a piece in the DT about second elevens which didn't fill me with joy.

I think the flaw in that article is that whilst Arsenal may have the best second string - there's not a whole lot of difference between their first and second string sides. That is why ourselves and Chelsea are better and will be challenging for the title this year.

out..

Milner Lampard Jovetic, Dzeko Boyata

In..

Sterling Delph

If this stays the same surely our squad will be weaker than last season ?
In denayer, iheancho, Lopes and possibly zucchini as well as sterling and Delph. Add to that a fit vinny and zabba and quite possibly two more signings.

Are you having a laugh?

Let's be honest City and Chelsea would put maybe 1 or 2 arsenal players in their first XI

Aguero, Costa, Silva, Hazard, Matic, Toure, Fabregas, Zaba, Kompany, Terry, Ivanovic.

All would be players I would comfortably feel would displace Asrenal first teamers.

Bzuc you said possibly. He was announced the other night as in the first team for this season..

Our squid is a bit off weather. Definitely not as strong as before.

The squid looks well.

disagree as the only real first team player from last season out of your list is Milner and Delph and especially Sterling offer us so much more.
