I'd be really sorry to see the Geordies go down; deluded their fans may be, but fundamentally they are a decent lot, let down by those in charge (sounds familiar, doesn't it?). With that shocking run of fixtures though, they are in deep, deep poo.

I'd like them to stay up; after the first laugh at seeing a big club go, who do we play instead? Stoke, Boro, Wigan? Come on, I know who I'd prefer!

Personally, if it's a big club going I'd much rather see those arrogant spuds tossers go; unfortunately, it seems they are just too good. :0(

Ideally the Toon, Bolton and Spurs would go down for me.

Realistically, other than WBA, I really can't decide. It's really tight at the bottom. Boro manage to get out of it every season, Blackburn and Fat Sam have done it before, Newcastle going down just doesn't seem possible, and neither does Spurs. I wouldn't be suprised to see Hull fall down the table, and Stoke's piss poor away form might send them down. It's gonna be an interesting couple of months!

The league this year is totally bonkers. Blackburn, Tottenham and Newcastle could go down. That'd be queer. The league would be a bizarre next season, there'd be about a 20 point gap between 8th and 9th, or something, full of bobbins teams doing the advanced work hard/ tackle hard/ kick and rush thing that they like to do down there.

Time to panic blues, we all know City can't play that game ;)

Sure, Newcastle is a lovely city and I do actually like Geordies but they do not tug at the heart strings any more than say WBA and for that reason, I'm ooooot. I hope they go down. :)
