Any side can win a domestic cup.

Pompey showed that last season. Cardiff and Millwall have been to the final in the last few years.

Think thats a bit tongue in cheek. Sure some Villa fans are bitter; but you wouldn’t expect anything different would you? The future is undoubtly bright at MCFC, but Barry’s big thing was champions league, of which MCFC cannot offer him. I would say that its a strong possibility within the next few years, but in no way a guarantee. So Barry’s big spiel sits uncomfortably with the fans. Buts its not a universal emotion; some fans are happy, some sad, some mad, some angry, etc. The main worry is that MON will not replace him, but someone like Sidwell will be expected to step up to the plate.
