"Gotta say, I agree with the Citehh fans on the whole 'ruining football' argument here. How is Man City tabling a bid for a player we all knew was pissing off this summer ruining football? Yes they are offering silly money at times, but let's be honest, I think every club that see's City contact them suddenly adds a good few million on the asking prices, and players agents suddenly pop an extra few grand or ten on the salary for the player. In their situation, if that's gonna happen, wouldn't you rather have say, a Robinho or Kaka wanting a kings ransom than say, a Heskey, Cueller or Sidwell? And yes, I know people will say 'Wayne bridge', but I'm pretty sure he was on bloody decent money to sit on Chavskis bench, and let's face it, most people will want more money when changing jobs."
