It's a shame as he offers something different to any other player we have but I think he may have played his last game for us.

tbf he's had over a month and he's still not deemed worthy to even train with the first team yet. Dunno, does not look good for the guy.
I don't think he'll ever play for us again. Has he been linked to any other clubs, though? Hard to imagine lot of clubs queuing up for a 150k a week fat bastard :)

I thought he was going to have a good year under Pep, but looking at our signings it is hard to see where he fits into the squad. CAM DeBruyne, Silva are ahead of him and even Iheanacho could be depending on how he will improve this year. LW - Nolito and Sterling; RW - Sane and then either Navas or Nasri, at least until Gabriel Jesus comes into the squad. I thought it would be Navas, but by all indications it looks like Nasri is the one being forced out of the squad. Which is a shame I rather have that fat bastard then the bastard who can't cross.

What is it he offers that no other player can? I've never really taken to him, but he is decent when he is on form. However, I don't see what he brings that no other player can?

Collect £150k a week while fat and contributing nothing.

Ball retention, the ability to run beyond the striker, and a decent finish

Are people really that surprised with Nasri? He comes out with these interviews every now and again saying everything you want to hear and makes you think he's willing to knuckle down and become the player he's capable of and then never fulfils that promise. He did it when Pep was announced, stating Pep will be lucky to have him as he's hungrier than ever, it seems he meant that literally.

Silva doesn't really offer the ability to run beyond the striker or the finishing. But as you say, Nasri doesn't offer it consistently. If he did we wouldn't be having the conversation.
