Look at Barca, they dont have the best defenders in the world but never concede really! No mate, I have to disagree. The defence has to be addressed if we are to compete with the top four. If we were to add Maicon, Terry and Lescott to the squad before the start of the season, then we must have a great chance of ruffling a few feathers! Wouldn't it be great to see how one of the big four cope without the cash cow that is the Champions League? Chelsea would probably be ok, but United, Liverpool or Arsenal would be in deep shit without the income that competition generates!
