SSN NOW

Cooper, their NW supporter on Sky Sports News now - claim we have offered around £25 million for Eto'o but suggested further discussions are on-going with club and player - suggested that if all conversations go to plan, could be completed within 48 hours. Seems to be quoting sources in the club. Usual warnings apply.

I do not like the sound of this. Eto highest paid footballer in the world???? He is hardly a Zidane/Ronaldo/ Messi or Kaka. It does seem slightly unfair.

Etoo is the best striker in the world , we are asking him to move from the cl-champs to a team that is not in Europe, you do the math mate.

Correct!

Eto'o is the best player in the world that is getable as far as we was concerned........it's all about timing.
At present the likes of Messi and Kaka wouldn't come because of our position, give it a few years and the worlds best will be asking to come.

This will put us on the world map of football.............don't forget it's not even 12 months since the takeover!!

true and getting a player like Eto'o open so many doors in so many ways

Better players more willing to come
Press, press, press and more PR - world known club etc
and in the case of Eto'o it opens up the African market

Exactly!!
There is a wider picture to all this........

James cooper. Utter, utter ****.

Gonna have to disagree with you there, I thought he gave a good report and was fiarly positive about us.

Yeh he's a rag, and puts a positive twist on what they do, but can you, hand on heart, say you wouldn't do the same thing about City?

And I very much doubt you would give a report on the rags as positive as that one was.

We've apparently sealed a deal with Eto'o and his advisors. 180k a week, and £25 million deal.

Sounds good, though, its reported in the News of the World, so it could be wrong. COME ON CITY!
