Lescott - Had his arms up, Kaboul kind of ran into him, just a clash. Nothing more than that.
Balotelli - A red card all day long, deliberate stamp which he meant, no defending him here. saw it the first time, and instantly saw the maliciousness in the stamp. Watched it another 20 times, still haven't changed my mind.
When he does the stamp, he falls over when he could of stayed on his feet. He faked it and kind of jumped and fell over, to basically make it look like he lost his balance.
No one has highlighted balotelli have a quick look at the ref, after he does is just to make sure whether he saw it or not.
No arguments, he meant it, he knows it. Once again he's let the club and his team mates down. Just wish he would cut it out.
I don't love balotelli, but i like him. But the sun shines out of his arse to some people. We can't afford passengers, at this stage of the season. Could have been sent off and left us with 10 men.
Whether he has his best game ever, scores a hat-trick and is in a happy mood. I still sit there and think please don't do anything rash in this game. It shouldn't have to be like that, but sadly it is.

thing is what can you do? balotelli or edin? i know which i would want if a chance came along in the last minute, you have to be on the pitch though

In case it's not clear I entirely agree with you. There's no way you can look at that in real time and think he even HAD THE TIME to make a decision on whether to stamp Parker or not.

He would be a superman to think about stamping on someone when he is clearly off balance. Parker received treatment for the first accidental contact - did he receive treatment for the alleged stamp on a different part of his face?andrewmswift said:

Witchunt, nothing more, nothing less, anyone watching that (and not influenced by the agenda driven media) can see that Balo is off balance, is falling and is not even looking at Parker, how, therefore when he is clearly falling, no idea where Parker is as he's not looking at him and in milliseconds be deliberately aiming a foot at Parker is beyond me.
If he does connect with Parkers head it can be nothing more than accidental.
This is a clear witchunt designed to turn the average fan (and indeed some 'city fans) against what is a great player.
I remember saying having watched it live that Parker had felt the force of Balo's shot, no one, including the referee protested at the time and that says it all.

Anyway, this hurts us as Mario is an important player. I love him to death because of his interesting personality. He just needs to realise that he is a crucial part of our team and actions that hurt the team will not help anyone. He has become a larger-than-life personality that is important for our club and football as a whole. He shouldn't tarnish it with actions like this. I'm glad that Parker wasn't hurt.
It's really depressing because outside of Silva and Kompany he is probably my favourite player to watch. Get back soon, Mario. :(
