If you watch the replay, when Balo takes the shot he spins. As he spins and is facing the opposite direction, Parker then hits the ground after diving in front of his shot. The last thing that Balo sees is Parker's back deflecting his shot. Unless he has eyes on the back of his head, there is no way that Balo could have known that Parker was going to then fall over and land at his feet. There is probably only about a .2 second window where he could have even IMAGINED the idea to stomp on Parker and that is the moment he comes around from spinning and trips over Parker on the ground.

It is now irrelevent that I amongst many Blues thought it was deliberate. He has been tried and found guilty already by the Media. It has been 6 viewings per news bulletin on SSN. We all see that Webb clearly saw it also, not suprisingly the Clown got it wrong - but we know he saw it.

This is fucking disgraceful. We have seen Rooney and Gerrard get off scot free in similar incidents but no witch hunt.

The dangerous thing about this is that the media now scent blood. Every second of every City match will be analysed to the nth degree to find an incident to incite the mob. And I don't think it's overstating the case to say that we don't have many friends in the media. They tried it with de Jong's tackle on Ben Arfa and I was impressed that the FA declined to be pressured into a ban on that occasion but, I'm not sure that he has been the same player since that witch-hunt.

And, as we get towards the tail-end of the season, the mass hysteria will only get worse.

I agree , if the same incident occurred in a game of little importance , not covered by television and the media throng that owe their living to people like Balotelli then it wouldn't have been mentioned in dispatches least of all on this forum.

In Australia come 2.30pm in the morning it had already been replayed a dozen times.

The five goals and tension filled finish was irrelevant.

All that mattered was why did Balotelli stomp on Parker's beautiful face especially when he couldn't defend himself.

The media have become so predictable now , they have forgotten what real journalism is supposed to be about.

I don't think that Webb saw it. I've got the replay and paused as Balotelli made contact with Parker's face. I don't have the best quality, but on my video Webb seemed to look at the ball while the incident happened.

Paul Parker is now saying Mario should get no less than an 8 match ban and possibly 11 like Cantona's, so let us hope he is wrong, as usual. Didn't he say that Manure would beat us at Old Trafford in October? Presumably he can still play in the Europa League irrespective of the length of ban.

I cant disagree with that when Balotelli is playing the chance of him getting a red is big. Much bigger than Dzeko or Agüero or any other player.
Sometimes he gets easy yellows that is true but it is rarely that he gets a yellow for a useful tactical fault it is nearly always something unnecessary.

Pretty hate the way he reacts at losing the ball. He becomes angry and then we can just hope he doesnt run after the opponent and makes a kick just because he lost the ball.

He still didnt cut this out from his game.

Sometimes he behaves well when is getting sticks, faults, eg. FA final, when Huth elbowed him, and I was proud on him because he kew it was total unjustice and a big fault against him but knew he cant lose his temper and get a red card because how imprtant match was that for us.

I hope he learns from this 4 match ban, he had other bans last year too, the EL red card cost us the EL last year and also a 3 match ban and he couldnt play in the first 3 CL matches. (In Munich if he is on the bench...)

Still cant say it was 100% intentional/unintenional stamp yesterdayday, but he got a 4 match ban and we cannot really do anything. Apart from learning from it.
The media was on it, 10 times more than Glen Johnsons tackle or any Rooney elbow ever.
But media hates City, wants City to fail, no surprise. That's why Balo has to look for the team and ahead and win the league. That is the biggest revenge.

(Fa sometimes dont overturn a 3 match ban forr lot less, see Milijas from Wolves few weeks ago.)

Completely agree with you here in all that you posted, this muck raking media is now going to try and crank up just about anything now about us, because its just become open season on us now, thats why we must all stand together and tell this media idiots where to get off [ preferably over a cliff ]............
