Whats the point in appealing? Its not going to get reversed! If he goes now then he'll miss 4 relatively ok games and be back for Porto in the Europa.

We just need to stay quiet, accept it and get on with the season and win the league.

I have said elswhere Balo has been found 'guilty' by media-
No one can say he intended to stamp on parker absolutely no one -
he cannot be found guilty of this as there is reasonable doubt except that the media has decided there is not - SHAME ON THOSE PRESS ASSHOLES

I've read virtually the whole thread and some of you really need to wind your neck in a bit

He 'may' have done it deliberately but then again it 'may' have been accidental
No-one really knows apart from Mario

So to categorically state it was a deliberate attempt to maim is well off the mark, it 'appears' as though it was a stamp but there's only one person who knows 100% if it was

I thought Mario's red against Liverpool was two yellows not a straight red. So surely Mario should only be looking at a 3 match ban if found guilty, not 4 matches as reported everywhere?

1st suspension = 3 matches
2nd (in the same season) = 4 matches

I don't think we'll appeal. He seems to be playing with a slight injury, take the 4 games, let him rest and he'll come back fully fit and help us win the league.

not sure we missed a trick here, mancini or platt should have been straight up to webb at the end of the game confirming that he appeared to see it, point and was happy for game to carry on

if webb confirms they then mention it in press conference - fa cant get involved, end of

Having read Platt's comments on Balotelli being charged I think he's got the mood, and statement absolutely spot on.

He's called into question Webb's integrity over him "not seeing" the incident, he's questioned the whole premise of reviewing matches, and incidents, from numerous camera angles the day after the event and changing your opinion, and he's drawn attention to the futility of an appeal for Balotelli and the appeal system as a whole by acknowledging that Kompany's ban was upheld despite virtually everyone knowing it was the wrong decision.
