We need a retractable third tier for all of the casual fans who go to a weekend match but can't be arsed with the likes of the Champions League.
How about a series of zeppelins above the north and south stands? They could hover there at the weekends, with the occasional fans dangling below, then be deflated for Champions League games. If only 5 fans turn up, they could dangle below one zeppelin, instead of the whole fleet having to be inflated. Saves building a whole new tier and leaving it with empty seats.

Tears running down my cheeks !! Super .

is there room to go down instead of up meaning at least until they started at one end meaning a smaller capacity,we would have room for maybe 5,000? Theres a fair bit of room from the touchline to the stands esp behind the goals.

You are bang on - there is a bit of room but the present front row is pitch level so adding more seats would need to be below pitch level - (so only a couple of rows or so possible) - to prevent obscuring the view of people behind. When Pearce was at the helm seats below pitch level would have sold for a premium but not anymore.

Personally I think we should market 30,000 value platinum season cards - sit anywhere you want £200 - last 10 minutes of games only.

why not remove level 1 and build from level 2 down to the pitch level to make one big fuck off stand

Because we actually want to be able to use the ground whilst all of this is happening. Nice theory, but would be too much hassle.

I was thinking more of removing the pitch and making that lower too.If they can take a roof off, digging the pitch up should be no problem.

It would become a swimmingpool down there..

you won't get enough seats going down - think about the seat numbering - it runs from 1 around to about 1000'ish - you'll need to go down 12 rows to get 12,000 seats in - thats a helluver a lot....

I wait with somewhat smug baited breath for some kosher plans... ;-)
