Stadium Expansion

£400m??!!! The stadium cost about £120m to build!

Let's not get giddy though. Whilst we've been there I think we've only had about a dozen sell outs.

I prefer the stadium size as it is. It's better to play to a sell out crowd rather than echoing around for a Tuesday night Carling Cup game.

not being funney m8 but it was sold out every week for the first cpl of years, but then the novilty wore of but i dont think it needs extending yet maybe in the future but lets win a few things first a? or at the least become an accomplished top 4-5 side

when we start winning trophies year in year out (which we will) the demand for tickets will greatly increase. 47,000 aint going to be enough.

A mate who works at city has told me the owners have put 400 million aside to expand the stadium to 75,000.

Can't see myself why we would make it that big, but hopefully its true.

I think that might be a bit of yet once they bought the ground after we've got the success and started selling out regulary

Here we go again this must be the most number of threads

Without a new roof all round then expanding the ends to three tiers is highly unlikely Easier to build a new stadium and if the poster who's mate is an engineer asked his mate to study the design he would see this

I'd rather not extend it if we can work out another way of bluffing our income, the traffic is bad enough so unless they do something about the transportation side of it. Doubling up the traffic would be mayhem!!!!!! Selfish I know, but I would like to get home before the next day when we play night matches, what with having a child and all that.

The tram will run to the ground from next season and im sure i heard at one of them forums that the club are in talks with Metrolink to provide free transport when you buy a ticket for the game-like they do in Germany.

we will need 60 000 when we win our first trophy easy

Don`t forget Stuart Pearce football lost us about 20,000 fans!

You could get a brand new 75,000 stadium for £400m!!!!

I'd like full houses for a few years before we get too far ahead of ourseleves.
