Received a pm tonight. 30 rows of seats at both ends.
Level 2 to become a "members area" with access to bars etc. Pricing may be an issue however.

Level 2 of South Stand? Would kill off any idea of making it a Dortmund-esque singing stand but financially a good idea.

The invitations ad nothing to do with corporates: I got one. I thnk that they just selected seasoncard holders randomly. I didn't go though as I couldn't travel up today.
Expanding the capacity is surely inevitable.

I got told by somebody who works on the development that their boss had a meeting and the ground can be expanded to 60,000 + 80,000 (3 tiers and 4 tiers) apparently they don't want to do two different expansions, they want to just do one I.e 80,000
They aren't expecting to sell out LC games, look at Milan and barca, 30/40,000 empty seats in the lesser games.
We need to think about the week in week out league games.
Although I have to say I think 60,000 would be our limit atm.

All round on level 2 by all accounts. Im in Sl2 so hope prices aren't massively increased.

Maine Road could be a lonely place at a lot of cup and league games. Capacity kept getting smaller and then the cries were heard:" we need a bigger stadium"
When Bird et all did the rounds at supporters clubs, I suggested we needed a 56000 stadium as Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and a few more were looking for bigger or new stadiums. People laughed then at my suggestion.
60000 is what we need even if we don't fill fill it for cup games.
