I'd imagine, as long as you could get the sponsor to agree to this, and demonstrate why you believe the value has increased (if we become champions and do well in Europe you could legitimately argue that exposure is greater and the sponsor is getting more publicity than was originally guaranteed), then renegotiating would be perfectly acceptable.
