Stalybridge train station buffet bar

As above, Q Bar. On the same street it had the pub with the longest name..... something like the 13th Cheshire Rifleman

was on the darts team there when I was 16, 13th volunteer mounted cheshire rifleman inn, proper old mans pub in the 80's back when stalyvegas came into being and the town was overrun by children (I was a "mature" 16) :)

I love a good railway bar.
The Trackside at Bury heritage railway is a belter. Full of real ales, ciders and perry's, some of which are brutal.
The Haywards Heath station bar is a good un as well, lovely pint of stella and loads of fit women in rush hour.
And not exactly a station bar but the Piccadilly tap on station approach pisses all over anything inside the station.

Bump.

Was in there last night (strictly lime and soda) and the manager announced that a buffet party hadn't turned up and a full slap-up spread was up for grabs. Talk about feeding time at the zoo.

Seriously though, it's a great place with some proper nice oddballs. Their Christmas dinner menu looks excellent.

I'd avoid it on a Saturday though.
