Only catching up on this thread. Villa have won 1 league title 1 FA Cup and the European Cup in the last 95 years. Their trophy haul consists of a bag full in the 1890's - to consider this an indication of size is ridiculous.

They also won the League Cup when Sir Joe was their manager.

Don't think anyone's arguing they're not a big club, just that Collymore makes himself look stupid by regularly banging on about them being up there in the top five when 90% of their achievements were before WW1. Collymore's main point is that they've won the league more times than all but three other clubs but fails to point out that six out of seven of their titles happened before anyone under 105 was born.
