Bill Hicks was my favourite comedian, I was fortunate to see him twice at the Royal Exchange in the early nineties.I also saw a stage play about him called ’Slight Return’ in 2007.

Just stumbled upon this and I thought it was a great piece of writing, and well performed.
Stand up comedy is so difficult to get right.

I just thought his delivery of such a nonsensical subject was superb.
The way he twists it towards the end and makes out that shire horses are homophobic and racist is gold.
I loved black books. Worth a watch if some on here haven't seen it.

He was unique, a very funny man, one of my dad's favourite comedians.
