Ha ha spot on.
About 10 years ago he did a tour of the USA, which I thought was a little odd, as I figured no-one over here had heard of him. He was booked into a fairly large (500 seat) theatre in Cleveland and then a week or two before the show, got moved into an even bigger theatre next door with well over 1,000 seats. I thought, ‘Blimey, he must be popular!’.I loved black books. Worth a watch if some on here haven't seen it.
He's a talented comic
Great story.About 10 years ago he did a tour of the USA, which I thought was a little odd, as I figured no-one over here had heard of him. Come the night of the show, there was not even a hundred people in the audience. We barely filled the first couple of rows of seats! He came out on stage, looked at us all and jumped down and did the show stood on the floor between the first row and the stage. Needless to say, he was brilliant.
